Project details - Kitchen

This is going to be a total tear-out. Check out the stove. Who would cook on that? The only thing salvageable is the fridge. The drain pipe in the wall rusted and broke into pieces. My brother removed part of it in the basement, and then abandoned the project, so now there is nothing at all for the water to go down except the wall. So, technically, the water will eventually get to the (floor) drain.
The galvanized supply lines provide a rusty gel-like substance from the faucet when first opened, but we don’t do that because the rust-water would just go on the floor since the drain pipes under the sink have also rusted through. If it could go down the drain... well, refer to the previous paragraph.
The sink is likely older than I am, which means it’s “vintage” so it may have value to the hoity-toity folks out there, but it’s so damn heavy I can’t move it alone. I need to move it though, so I can knock the wall out to allow the plumber (which I can’t afford) to do his handiwork. Once that’s done, I just need to patch the drywall, texture the ceiling, replace the cabinets, countertop, stove, sink, lights, and flooring. Then I can paint. Woo-hoo!
My doctor wonders why I drink so much. More images
